Lynne Mishele, the woman who lost her home in the crash that killed actress Anne Heche, posted a video message reacting to her death.

“The news of Anne Heche passing is devastating,” Mishele said in an Instagram post.

She added, “Her family and her friends and her children, especially, really have suffered a great loss, and my heart goes out for them. This entire situation is tragic and there really are just no words. I’m sending love to everybody involved.”

A representative for Heche announced on Sunday that she had been “peacefully taken off life support.”

A statement released by her publicist on behalf of her family last week said Heche was being kept on life support to determine if any of her organs are “viable.”

On Friday, Heche was declared brain-dead.

“Today we lost a bright light, a kind and most joyful soul, a loving mother, and a loyal friend,” her friends and family said in a statement.

The statement continues, “Anne will be deeply missed but she lives on through her beautiful sons, her iconic body of work, and her passionate advocacy.”

Several celebrities took to Twitter to react to her passing.

So sad Anne Heche has passed away. RIP dear talented soul. I pray your soul finds peace and your sons thrive and cherish the love you lavished on them so freely. 🙏🙏🙏

I have much to say about Anne Heche; she was uncommonly thoughtful & kind.

For now I'll just remind that she's a terrific actor & totally brilliant in "Wag The Dog."

In a role Mamet orig wrote for a man, she's straight-up hilarious & holds her own opposite DeNiro & Hoffman.

Ellen DeGeneres, ex-girlfriend of Heche, also took to Twitter to react to her death.

“This is a sad day. I’m sending Anne’s children, family and friends all of my love,” DeGeneres tweeted.

In 1997, Heche and DeGeneres began dating.

Just two years later, the couple said they would get married if same-sex marriage was legalized by the Vermont Supreme Court, as Entertainment Weekly noted.

“There is no one keeping their fingers crossed more than us,” Heche previously said.
