The White House is addressing backlash over an incident that occurred during its Pride Month event.
On Tuesday, a statement from the White House condemned trans influencer Rose Montoya for going topless on Saturday.
“This behavior is inappropriate and disrespectful for any event at the White House. It is not reflective of the event we hosted to celebrate LGBTQI+ families or the other hundreds of guests who were in attendance,” the statement read.
It added, “Individuals in the video will not be invited to future events.”
A bizarre video surfaced on Monday night from Montoya’s TikTok account about the event.
It showed the influencer interacting with President Joe Biden and stating, “It’s an honor, Mr. President. Trans rights are human rights.”
The video also shows the president calling members of the LGBT community some of the “bravest and most inspiring people.”
The video then took a strange turn as Fox News notes it “shows Montoya and another unnamed transgender activist, a biological female, baring their breasts on the South Lawn with the White House in view behind them.”

Montoya later addressed the backlash from the video, saying, “I had zero intention of trying to be vulgar or be profane in any way. I was simply living my joy, and my truth, and existing in my body.”

Most people would like to live joyfully. But they probably would not think of taking their shirt off at the White House to accomplish that.
There is something particularly inappropriate about taking your shirts off at the White House in broad daylight. It is not a strip club or your buddy’s house — even if Biden likes to act like a normal person as he claims to have been raised by members of several ethnicities and claims to have been a trucker diver.
He is the President of the United States, and there is a certain level of respect and decorum that goes along with that title and being invited to events that the White House.
And when conservatives say the Left is pushing to tear down traditional social values and push a much more debauched lifestyle, all they have to do is point to this video which occurred at a Pride event organized by the White House.
This video seemed to bolster that claim. It was as if to say: This is what the White House is celebrating and accepting. And if it is acceptable at the White House, one of the most famous symbols of America, it should be acceptable everywhere in the country.
It is a good sign the White House denounced this incident to try to uphold some sense of decorum and sanity.
But the damage is likely already done for the Left by the video of Biden calling members of the LGBT community some of the “bravest and most inspiring people” he knows followed by the flashing incident.
