President Donald Trump’s physician Sean Conley released a statement on Tuesday to confirm he has not experienced any heart issues amid reports about him suffering a series mini-strokes last year.

“I can confirm that President Trump has not experienced nor been evaluated for a cerebrovascular accident (stroke), transient ischemic attack (mini stroke), or any acute cardiovascular emergencies, as have been incorrectly reported in the media,” Conley said.

He added, “The President remains healthy and I have no concerns about his ability to maintain the rigorous schedule ahead of him. As stated in my last report, I expect him to remain fit to execute the duties of the Presidency.”

Conley’s comments come hours after Trump refuted reports about his visit to Walter Reed Medical Center last year, as IJR previously reported.

“It never ends! Now they are trying to say that your favorite President, me, went to Walter Reed Medical Center, having suffered a series of mini-strokes. Never happened to THIS candidate – FAKE NEWS. Perhaps they are referring to another candidate from another Party!” Trump tweeted.

After he completed his third physical as president in June, Conley reported Trump “remains healthy,” as IJR previously reported.

According to Conley, “there were no findings of significance or changes to report” at the time of his physical.

While Trump is adamant he is in good health, he cannot say the same for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

In July, Trump challenged Biden to take a cognitive test and claimed this is one he has already passed.

Trump claimed in June the former vice president has a “low IQ.”

When a CBS News correspondent asked if Biden has taken a cognitive test, Biden fired back, “Why the hell would I take a test?”

On Wednesday, Trump indicated he is going to call for a drug test for both himself and Biden ahead of the next debate after Biden showed improvement during his debate against Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).
