WH Ripped After Releasing 2 Minute Video of Biden With Embarrassing Typo and Almost 30 Cuts

The White House is getting dragged on social media after releasing a bizarre video of President Joe Biden.

On Tuesday, the White House released a video of Biden urging the House to pass more funding for Ukraine.

But his comments were not what received attention on social media. Rather, it was the editing of the video that garnered comments as it appeared it was put together by a freshman student in his high school broadcasting club.

The video, which lasted just over two minutes, featured 29 different cuts as the president spoke. It resembled an action movie featuring an 80s star who is now a little past their prime and needs multiple cuts to make it look like they seamlessly leaped over a fence.

Additionally, text on the screen showed Biden talking about NATO and stating that alliances are “one of America’s greatest sources of strenghts.”

Yes, we all love to talk about America’s “great sources of strenghts.”

You may have heard some call into question the sanctity of America's commitment to our Allies.

That's not who we are.

We're a nation that can be relied on, that stands up to Putin. Let's prove it by passing the bipartisan National Security Bill so I can sign it into law. pic.twitter.com/BYXU1lwnkh

29 cuts in 2 minutes. 29. https://t.co/UY7dM55X7f

So when you've worked on the producing end as I did in my former life, some things are painfully easy to spot when the post-edit is complete.

In this case, I counted 28 cuts in this 2 minute video. 28. In something this short, *maybe* you do 5-6 cuts max. https://t.co/2xS3cSacst

How many recorded takes do you think this took? https://t.co/woRDhhjZ46

This 2 minute clip has more jump cuts than a Michael Bay movie https://t.co/WvNQBqqdTe

There are 29 cuts in this 2 minute video.

29.

And you know he’s reading off a huge teleprompter!

Insanity! https://t.co/jqiPN8zBkL

Two minutes, 29 edits. So he's good for 4-5 seconds at a time. https://t.co/wwVS1BcaRf

The White House deserves all the criticism in the world for that video.

Typos happen, even if they are in a video released by the White House which presumably has multiple sets of eyes looking it over before it gets sent out.

But, these videos with fast cuts for no apparent reason are just weird. It is like they think they need to make everything in a TikTok format because the attention span of Americans is similar to that of a chipmunk. A few cuts every few seconds to make sure viewers don’t tune out while listening to the president’s monotone voice is understandable

This was excessive… unless they had to make a two minute video with almost 30 cuts because Biden kept butchering his script or mumbling incoherently and looking like he was 95% asleep.

Given Special Counsel’s Robert Hur’s assessment of the president’s cognitive abilities — namely severe memory issues — and what we see of him on a pretty much daily basis, it seems more likely it was due to the latter, which is just sad and embarrassing for him and the U.S.

And if Biden can’t make it through a two minute video without suffering an astronomical number of slip-ups or gaffes or reverting to mumbling incoherently, how can we expect him to make it through another four years as president?
