A recent sex tape allegedly filmed in the U.S. Capitol was reportedly not the first one to be filmed, leading to an investigation.

An investigation was reportedly launched in June 2022 after reports swirled that a staffer for Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-Wash.) allegedly engaged in “purported, unbecoming behavior,” a spokesperson for Newhouse confirmed to Semafor.

“As soon as the office was alerted, we immediately contacted the appropriate House entities to conduct an independent investigation,” the spokesperson for Newhouse told the outlet.

The spokesperson added, “The office will not be providing further comment on personnel matters.”

While an investigation was launched into the matter, the unnamed staffer has denied having participated in explicit videos.

The staffer reportedly was informed by Newhouse that the investigation had begun in June and a month later was told there was “no evidence to the allegation.”

In the fall of 2022, the staffer reportedly left his job with Newhouse on good terms for unrelated reasons, he told the outlet, adding that Newhouse has praised the staffer’s work.

While it is unclear who was involved in that sex tape, the videos reportedly circulated through Snapchat.

The videos provided to Semafor by a source allegedly show “a man masturbating inside a House office building, which was identifiable by standard Capitol House furniture and carpeting.”

News of an investigation surrounding a second alleged sex tape being filmed comes a week after the Daily Caller released an article featuring a video that blurred out the faces of two men allegedly having sex in a Senate hearing room.

While the outlet did not name the staffer involved, reports surfaced online that Aiden Maese-Czeropski, an ex-staffer for Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.), had allegedly been one of the men filming the sex tape in the Hart Senate Office Building room 216.

The room in which the video was allegedly filmed is used to conduct confirmation hearings for Supreme Court justices.
