President Donald Trump’s eldest son Donald Trump Jr. and his other adult son, Eric Trump, are taking aim at “2024 GOP hopefuls” for failing to support their father amid what they believe is voter fraud.

“The total lack of action from virtually all of the ‘2024 GOP hopefuls’ is pretty amazing. They have a perfect platform to show that they’re willing & able to fight but they will cower to the media mob instead. Don’t worry [Donald Trump] will fight & they can watch as usual!” Donald Trump Jr. wrote.

He added, “One notable exception seems to be Ron DeSantis right now. He has been active and vocal. Also Josh Hawley.”

Josh Hawley took to Twitter to voice his support for fair elections.

“If last 24 hrs have made anything clear, it’s that we need new election integrity laws NOW. Ban ballot harvesting, guarantee poll watcher access, make ballot counting transparent. I will introduce,” Hawley wrote.

If Trump fails to win the presidential election, some speculate he could run again in 2024.

Former White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney predicted the president will give it another go in four years if he loses, as IJR previously reported.

He asked during a webinar hosted by the Dublin think tank, the Institute for International and European Affairs, “After this election is over, who is the leading Republican candidate for 2024?”

Mulvaney added, “And I think now, folks are starting to realize, ‘Wait a second, if Donald Trump loses he might be the guy.’ And I’m telling you absolutely. I would absolutely expect the president to stay involved in politics. I would absolutely put him on the shortlist of people who are likely to run in 2024. He doesn’t like losing.”

As of Thursday evening, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has garnered 253 electoral votes compared to Trump’s 214.
