During a one-on-one interview with Tucker Carlson, former President and leading 2024 Republican candidate Donald Trump answered the question, “Are you worried that they’re gonna try and kill you?”

TUCKER: "Are you worried that they're going to try and kill you?!"

TRUMP: "They're savage animals. They are people that are sick, really sick." pic.twitter.com/rR20JNWOjt

Trump answered, “They’re savage animals. They are people that are sick, really sick.”

Just who “they” are was not disclosed, but it has been insinuated that the long-term established politicians in Washington, D.C., oppose Trump and they would go to great lengths to stop him from regaining power.

In December of 2022, CBS News reported House Democrats had introduced a bill to ban Trump from running for reelection.

In July of 2022, Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) told Business Insider, “I would love it if we could disqualify him.”

Trump is the only President to be impeached twice, per ABC News, and he has also survived multiple assassination attempts, according to Grunge.

Trump noted his dedication to the American people during his Carlson interview, but also addressed concerns regarding the members of the “they” group.

He said, “I’ve seen what they do. I’ve seen the lengths that they go to.”

This comes less than a year after Carlson reported on allegations the CIA was involved in the assassination of JFK before leaving Fox News.

The story was highly discussed by Americans and continues to be a mystery to this day.

Like the assassination of JFK, the Russian collusion hoax is another topic that has left Americans baffled. Trump also noted how it was debunked by the Durham report on the Trump-Russia probe when answering about potential threats to his life.

He then stated, “These are people that… I think they hate our country.”

Trump went on to criticize the border crisis, current policies, and the state of the nation.

“It’s so sad to see,” he added.
