President Donald Trump appeared on Fox News in an exclusive interview with primetime host Sean Hannity where he switched his focus to the network itself.

When asked about the “numerous gaffes” of 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden, Trump responded on the show Wednesday evening, saying, “The media is all on their side. When I say all, all but a little bit including yourselves and some of the folks on Fox.”

Trump continued on to cite the difficulties he has with the network itself, “They put people on that I think are inappropriate and say very, very false things and people don’t challenge them. I think they are trying to be very politically correct or fair and balanced, right, is the term.”

He mentioned the supporters he has outside of Fox News including conservative political commentator Rush Limbaugh, conservative radio host Mark Levin, and Fox Business host Lou Dobbs.

Hannity did not respond to the president’s comments on the network afterward but instead moved on to the topic of Trump’s voter turnout in the primaries.

This wasn’t the first time that Trump took a swipe at the network, calling them “politically correct.” At his rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Monday, he brought up former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and pivoted quickly to the network’s interview with him.

The president said, “And then you have mini Mike… He’s being interviewed tonight on Fox… They want to, you know, be politically correct. They end up interviewing more Democrats than Republicans, I don’t know what’s going on with Fox.”

Trump has also previously criticized the network for interviewing former FBI Director James Comey and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).

Hard to believe that @FoxNews will be interviewing sleazebag & totally discredited former FBI Director James Comey, & also corrupt politician Adam “Shifty” Schiff. Fox is trying sooo hard to be politically correct, and yet they were totally shut out from the failed Dem debates!

Trump’s critiques of Fox News have extended to both its coverage and some of its hosts including Chris Wallace and Shepard Smith, who left Fox News in October of 2019.
