Former President Donald Trump says he knows who wants to be his running mate.

Fox News’ Martha MacCallum asked Trump who would be in consideration for his running mate during a town hall event on Wednesday.

“I can’t tell you that, really, I mean, I know who it’s going to be,” the former president responded.

When asked if he could give them a hint of who it might be, Trump said, “We’ll do another show sometime.”

Watch the video below:

Trump says he knows who he wants as VP and will keep it a secret. But that’s not the news here for me.

Look at Trump! He looks healthy and a little trimmed up. He is still sharp, witty, and rattling off zingers.

Asked if he would try to mend relationships with his former Republican presidential contenders, Trump said, “Oh sure, I will.”

“I’ve already started to like [Chris] Christie better,” he quipped.

However, he added he does not see naming Christie as his running mate.

His comment comes as former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) suspended his campaign.

Before he made the announcement, he was heard ripping into former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).
