Former President Donald Trump has been served a “cease-and-desist” letter from Hunter Biden’s lawyers regarding his statements on the first son.

The Daily Wire reported on the situation Thursday. Abbe Lowell is representing Hunter Biden and claimed the letter is necessary due to “public statements about my client which are both defamatory and likely to incite Mr. Trump’s followers to take actions against Mr. Biden and which could lead to his or his family’s injury.”

Lowell stated “this is not a false alarm,” and believes that Hunter Biden has been sober for four years.

This comes as Hunter Biden was seen in Malibu, California around the time the letter was sent, according to the Daily Mail.

In addition, Hunter Biden is being scrutinized over his recent plea deal, via the Washington Examiner.

Breaking: Hunter Biden's attorneys have just sent Donald Trump a cease-and-desist letter.

It partially reads as follows:

Independent journalist Ed Krassenstein posted the news to Twitter asking, “What do you make of this letter? Will Trump stop? Should he?”

Legally 45 has to stop , that much I know.

One user responded, “Legally 45 has to stop , that much I know.”

Legally I thought he would have had to do a lot of things. I'm not sure he legally has to do this unless a court decides so.

Krassenstein added, “Legally I thought he would have had to do a lot of things. I’m not sure he legally has to do this unless a court decides so.”

Another user responded, “Defamatory means it’s false. Hunter documented his crimes on his laptop. Therefore, it’s not false. Therefore, it’s not defamatory.”

Defamatory means it's false.
Hunter documented his crimes on his laptop.
Therefore, it's not false.
Therefore, it's not defamatory.

The question of defamation laws also came into the conversation. E-Mo Drags the Interstate said, “Hunter is a public figure and defamation laws are far more lax for this type of person.”

Hunter is a public figure and defamation laws are far more lax for this type of person. I cant recall everything Trump has been called or the times he has been threatened and no recourse. Seems like deflection and projection to me. BTW, tell Bro to retract his jobs tweet
