Former Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley will not be meeting with former President Donald Trump anytime soon.

Politico reports Haley reached out to Trump on Wednesday to request a sit-down meeting with him at Mar-a-Lago but a source said he “turned her down.”

The publication notes they have not spoken since the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol.

In a previous interview with Politico’s Tim Alberta published last week, Haley tore into Trump for his behavior after the election, as IJR reported.

“Since the election… I mean, I’m deeply disturbed by what’s happened to him,” Haley said.

She added, “Never did I think he would spiral out like this… I don’t feel like I know who he is anymore… The person that I worked with is not the person that I have watched since the election.”

Haley also criticized Trump for the way he treated Pence, “[Former Vice President Mike Pence] has been nothing but loyal to that man. He’s been nothing but a good friend of that man.”

She continued, “I am so disappointed in the fact that [despite] the loyalty and friendship he had with Mike Pence, that he would do that to him. Like, I’m disgusted by it.”

Haley told Alberta Trump “let us down” and “went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him.”

During an appearance on Fox News last month, Haley weighed in on whether Trump should be impeached for his conduct, as IJR reported.

“The actions of the president…post-Election Day were not great. What happened on January 6th was not great. Does he deserve to be impeached? Absolutely not,” she said.

Just days after the election, Haley said Trump’s “actions since Election Day will be judged harshly by history.”

In an op-ed published by The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday, Haley went after the media for trying to divide Republicans and praised Trump for his policies.

“Most of Mr. Trump’s major policies were outstanding and made America stronger, safer and more prosperous,” Haley wrote.
