Former President Donald Trump has been banned from Facebook and Twitter, however, he is apparently planning a return to social media — just not on an existing major platform.

Jason Miller, a spokesperson for the former president, revealed on Fox News on Sunday that Trump is planning to launch his own social media company.

“I do think that we’re going to see President Trump returning to social, probably in about two or three months here, with his own platform,” Miller said. “This is something that I think will be the hottest ticket in social media.”

He continued, “It’s going to completely redefine the game and everybody’s going to be waiting and watching to see what exactly President Trump does. But it will be his own platform.”

When asked if Trump is working with another company to build his platform, Miller said, “It will be big once he starts. There have been a lot of high-powered meetings he’s been having at Mar-a-Lago with some teams of folks who have been coming in, and I gotta tell you, it’s not just one company that’s approached the president, there have been numerous companies. But I think the president does know what direction he wants to head here.”

“This new platform is going to be big and everyone wants him. He’s going to bring millions and millions, tens of millions, of people to this new platform,” he added.

Miller previously said that Trump could make a return to social media, as IJR reported.

“I do think we’re probably not that far off from seeing President Trump return to social media,” he told Mediaite’s “The Interview” podcast.

He added, “I would expect that by the end of spring, we will see President Trump back on social media, and I think it’ll be in some new platforms that maybe you haven’t seen before.”
