Former President Donald Trump has a demand involving the FBI’s raid at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, “Release the Documents Now!”

In another post, he added, “Not only will I not oppose the release of documents related to the unAmerican, unwarranted, and unnecessary raid and break-in of my home in Palm Beach, Florida, Mar-a-Lago, I am going a step further by ENCOURAGING the immediate release of those documents, even though they have been drawn up by radical left Democrats and possible future political opponents, who have a strong and powerful vested interest in attacking me, much as they have done for the last 6 years…”

Trump’s statement came after Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that the Department of Justice filed a request to unseal the search warrant and property receipt from the search.

“The Department filed the motion to make public the warrant and receipt in light of the former president’s public confirmation of the search, the surrounding circumstances and the substantial public interest in this matter,” Garland said.

He added, “Faithful adherence to the rule of law is the bedrock principle of the Justice Department and of our democracy. Upholding the rule of law means applying the law evenly without fear or favor. Under my watch, that is precisely what the Justice Department is doing.”

Garland also revealed he “personally approved the decision to seek a search warrant in this matter.”

People familiar with the investigation told The Washington Post that classified documents relating to nuclear weapons were among things being searched for by the FBI.

The former president addressed the claim in another post on his platform.

“Nuclear weapons issue is a Hoax, just like Russia, Russia, Russia was a hoax,” Trump wrote.

He continued, “Same sleazy people involved. Why wouldn’t the FBI allow the inspection of areas at Mar-a-Lago with our lawyers, or others, present.”

Concluding his post, Trump wrote, “Made them wait outside in the heat, wouldn’t let them get even close – said “ABSOLUTELY NOT.” Planting information anyone? Reminds me of a Christopher Steele Dossier!”
