Former President Donald Trump was booed after revealing that he received a COVID-19 booster shot.

During an event on Sunday with former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, Trump was asked if he received a booster shot for the virus.

“Yes,” he responded.

As some members of the crowd began to boo, Trump said, “Don’t, don’t, don’t, no. That’s, it’s a very tiny group over there.”

Moments earlier, Trump encouraged the crowd to tout the coronavirus vaccines as he said, “We did something that was historic. We saved tens of millions of lives worldwide.”

“Take credit for it. It’s great, what we’ve done is historic. Don’t let them take it away…you’re playing right into their hands when you’re sort of like, ‘oh, the vaccine.’ If you don’t want to take it, you shouldn’t be forced to take — no mandates. But take credit because we saved tens of millions of lives. Take credit. Don’t let them take that away from you,” he added.

In September, Trump said he “probably won’t” get a booster shot because “I feel like I’m in good shape from that standpoint.”

“I’ll look at stuff later on,” he continued. “I’m not against it, but it’s probably not for me.”

During a rally in Alabama in August, Trump said, “You know what? I believe totally in your freedoms. I do. You’ve got to do what you have to do. But I recommend, take the vaccines. I did it. It’s good. Take the vaccines.”

When the crowd started to boo, he responded, “No, that’s OK. That’s all right.”

“You’ve got your freedoms, but I happen to take the vaccine. If it doesn’t work, you’ll be the first to know, OK? I’ll call up, Alabama. I’ll say, ‘Hey, you know what?’ But it is working. But you do have your freedoms. You have to keep — you have to maintain that,” he added.
