‘They Don’t Like You!’: Joe Rogan Rips Dems’ Attempt To Woo Men, Says They Want Leaders Who ‘Aren’t Owned’

On his show Monday, podcast host Joe Rogan called out Democrats’ attempt to win over male voters, saying men just want leaders who “aren’t owned.”

During former Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign, the Democratic presidential candidate struggled to connect with voters’ top concerns and failed to appeal to key party voting blocs, such as black and Hispanic males. On “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Rogan highlighted how some pundits have attempted to paint him as part of a “massive right-wing network,” adding that Democrats don’t understand how to appeal to men.

“Shut the fuck up. Like that’s not — You just don’t want to admit that organically there’s a bunch of people that feel very different than you. Also, they don’t like you!” Rogan said. “You don’t represent a man to a lot of men. When you’re one of those guys that talks in upspeak, ‘We have to understand there’s a whole right-wing ecosystem, and it’s heavily funded and the propaganda that they’re pushing. We have to fight back against that. We need someone of our own.’”

Harris got backlash after she flip-flopped on left-wing policies she previously espoused. Her campaign ads also came under the spotlight. One of her campaign ads attempted to appeal to men in a 90-second video, which showed several men repeatedly declaring they were “man enough” to support women’s rights and not be “afraid of women.”

Rogan went on to say how a 17-year-old male would not relate to a Democratic pundit.

“Like, no fucking kid who’s on a basketball court who’s 17 years old is looking at his phone,” Rogan added. “It’s like looking at going to college next year and looking at getting a job someday and being a man is looking at that and going, ‘What the fuck is this?’”

“He’s hanging out with his bros and they’re like, ‘This is fucking bullshit. This is bullshit.’ Then you could see a man who’s not owned. I’m not owned. I can do whatever I want. That’s what they want,” Rogan said. “They want to just be a man and be a nice man. You could be a nice man. You could be a masculine man and be nice.”

In addition to Harris’ failed campaign, the former vice president earned 7 million fewer votes than Biden in the 2020 race, according to The New York Times. Despite finding some counties where she met or exceeded Biden’s vote totals, she failed to match President Donald Trump’s gains, falling short in three of the seven key swing states and in 80% of counties nationwide.
