Former President Donald Trump hosted two white supremacists for dinner, according to one co-host of ABC’s “The View.”

During a segment on Monday, the co-hosts discussed Trump’s controversial dinner with Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, and white nationalist Nick Fuentes.

After the dinner, the former president insisted he “didn’t know” Fuentes.

However, co-host Sunny Hostin took issue with his defense.

“[Trump] has Secret Service protection at all times, because he’s a former President of the United States,” she said.

Hostin went on:

“So there’s no way that someone walked into Mar-a-Lago to have dinner with the former, twice impeached, disgraced president and he didn’t know who they were. So that’s a lie.”

Additionally, the co-host appeared to suggest West — who is Black — is a white supremacist because he is “wearing things that say ‘White Lives Matter.'”

“You know, mental problems or not, he is exhibiting antisemitic behavior, racism, bigotry. And so has Nick Fuentes,” she added.

Hostin also argued the dinner is “yet another reason” why Trump “should never be allowed to be in a position of power, not even a crossing guard.”

West came under fire earlier this year after he posted antisemitic messages on Twitter and Instagram.

He also wore a shirt with the words “White Lives Matter” on it at the Paris Fashion Week.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said about his dinner, “This past week, Kanye West called me to have dinner at Mar-a-Lago. Shortly thereafter, he unexpectedly showed up with three of his friends, whom I knew nothing about.”

“We had dinner on Tuesday evening with many members present on the back patio. The dinner was quick and uneventful. They then left for the airport,” he continued.

He also said West “expressed no anti-Semitism, [and] I appreciated all of the nice things he said about me.”
