Congressional negotiators have been trying for months to reach agreement on a new coronavirus aid bill, after Congress approved $3 trillion in relief earlier this year.

"I've indicated to the administration very early on."

It "is astounding," Hoyer says.

"I had a briefing this morning and I know that the evidence is not corroborated."

"The two-thirds of the Republican party that voted for this bill in March have indicated they are going to vote against it now."

The legislation will include a range of provisions including aid to state and local governments.
