Palestinian supporters are celebrating South Africa’s move to accuse Israel of genocide before the World Court.

According to Reuters, Tembeka Ngcukaitobi, an advocate of the High Court of South Africa, stated during Thursday’s hearing, “The intent to destroy Gaza has been nurtured at the highest level of state.”

He accused Israeli leaders and military personnel, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, of being “the genocidal inciters.”

“The evidence of genocidal intent is not only chilling, it is also overwhelming and incontrovertible,” he alleged.

This comes after South Africa itself has been accused of the same acts for years.

In 2018, political activist Lauren Southern traveled to the nation to investigate claims of genocide against the minority white farming population.

Her findings were released in the documentary, “Farmlands,” where she interviewed farmers, government officials, and government contractors who were hired to clean up murder scenes.

Contract crime-scene worker Eileen De Jager noted that when she began work, she cleaned up farm crime scenes weekly, but, “Now it is definitely daily. It’s increased unbelievably.”

She also described cleaning up torture scenes filled with desecrated bodies and “brutally murdered babies.”

Francois De Jager, another South African crime-scene worker, stated that their involvement in cleaning these attacks increased 72.9%, but the official government numbers don’t reflect the increase.

In August of 2023, the IJR reported that even South African-born billionaire Elon Musk believed that his birth nation was committing genocide.

He decried South African politician Julius Malema dancing and singing singing “kill the Boer (whites), kill the White farmer” to a massive crowd.

This has even led some politicians like John Fetterman (D-Pa.) to acknowledge that South Africa may be guilty of the very crime they are accusing Israel of committing.

Comedian Tim Young posted a video of Fetterman decrying the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks and stating, “Maybe South Africa maybe ought to sit this one out!”
