The son of former Baltimore Ravens legend Ray Lewis reportedly died from an apparent drug overdose.

According to a police report obtained by the Orlando Sentinel, on Wednesday at 5:34 p.m., officers responded to a medical emergency call at a residence on South Sunset Drive where Ray Lewis III was found unresponsive by his friend, via an emailed statement by Casselberry Police Capt. Michael Schaefer.

Upon arrival, first responders noticed he was not breathing. An officer then administered the opioid overdose reversal drug Narcan, but was unsuccessful.

Officers also revealed one of Ray Lewis III’s friends attempted to perform CPR on him while another was screaming, “He needs Narcan!” in the background. The report also stated, “An apparent anti-anxiety pill, a used needle, and small plastic bag in a beer can were found at the home.”

While it was not definite Ray Lewis III was using drugs or alcohol at the time, his friends noticed he was “acting strange,” per the report.

He was then transported by the Seminole County Fire Department to Advent Health Hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was 28 years old.

“The evidence and witness accounts show this incident to be a tragic accident,” Schaefer wrote in the statement. “Our sympathies go out to the Lewis family and friends.”

An official cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner’s office.

On June 15, Ray Lewis III’s younger brother, Rahsaan Lewis, announced the news of his passing on Instagram.

“Really can’t believe I’m even typing this but RIP big brother,” he wrote, per Fox News. “A true angel I pray your (sic) at peace now because (I know) how much you was (really) hurtin (sic) I don’t and won’t ever have the words man cuz (sic) this pain right there.… I love you I love you I love you.”
