Singer Jewel spoke out in support of the box office hit “Sound of Freedom” film on child sex trafficking despite its critics.

On Monday, Jewel posted a video in response to a month-old tweet written by Twitter owner Elon Musk who recommended the Angel Studios film be streamed on the platform for a short time.

“It saddens me that some media is trying to politicize this movie. This is not left or right,” the “Foolish Games” singer wrote in the caption.

She added, “It’s about millions of kids being trafficked, and no matter what your faith or creed, we need to protect all the vulnerable kids rather than fight over philosophical differences.”

In her viral video, Jewel gave the film a rave review and urged her followers to see it.

“I’m so verklempt,” she said of her reaction to the film.

Jewel continued to praise the inspiring movie, made by a few friends of hers, and revealed it had been in production for “years.”

“Did you know that there are millions of children in slavery? This is the fastest-growing criminal enterprise, and the amount of children enslaved right now is greater than all 300 years of the transatlantic slave trade,” she explained.

She added, “What the actual eff?”

When describing the film, inspired by former federal agent Tim Ballard, Jewel shared, “This is a true story about a man who just doesn’t give up on a child.”

“It is so touching, you’re going to love it. Please go see it,” she urged.

Jewel continued, “This is the little indie movie that could, it’s competing with all of the giant blockbusters and it’s kicking butt and it deserves it.”

“Go see this to have your heart filled. Love you guys, take care of your babies!” she concluded.

This came after Rolling Stone magazine published an article trashing the film. The publication claimed it is just a QAnon conspiracy and the “epidemic” of child sex trafficking is “grossly exaggerated.”

“‘Sound of Freedom’ lives up to that anticipation. It’s a stomach-turning experience, fetishizing the torture of its child victims and lingering over lush preludes to their sexual abuse,” the article continued.
