Savannah Chrisley, daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley, shared how she was coping on Easter amid her parent’s absence.

In a photo obtained by People, Savannah Chrisley, 26, revealed how she dealt with her first Easter without her parents.

“Tough day without mama and daddy … we can do it though! Our ressurection [sic] is coming,” she wrote.

On April 5, Savannah Chrisley spoke about her “grief” as the holiday weekend approached.

“When you lose someone special, your world lacks its celebratory qualities. Holidays magnify that loss. The sadness deepens and the loneliness can feel isolating,” she explained.

She added, “Pretending you don’t hurt and/or it isn’t a harder time of the year is just not the truth for you. But you can – and will – get through the holidays.”

Savannah Chrisley also shared with her followers how they can cope as they mourn their loss.

“Rather than avoiding the feelings of grief, lean into them. It is not the grief you want to avoid, it is the pain. No one can take that pain away, but grief is not just pain, grief is love,” she continued.

In June 2022, Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted of “conspiring to defraud Atlanta banks.”

On Jan. 17, they reported to their respective prisons to serve out their combined 19-year prison sentences.

During her appearance on the March 14 episode of the podcast Off The Vine With Kaitlyn Bristowe,  Savannah Chrisley revealed the reaction she had when her parents’ verdict was read in the courtroom.

“I will never forget when they stood up to read the verdicts and it was like, guilty, guilty, guilty, like over and over and over again,” she told host Kaitlyn Bristowe. “And I just saw the looks on my parents’ faces and just everything, like they were just in tears. We were not expecting that, we were like, ‘There’s no way.’”
