Savannah Chrisley, daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley, revealed what challenges her parents are facing while in prison.

On the May 1 episode of her podcast, Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, she gave a “Chrisley life update” and said her parents have not been able to speak to one another in almost four months.

Savannah Chrisley, 25, spoke about her mother, specifically, and said she has sent her “30 or 40 days’ worth of letters,” which she referred to as “her daily diary.”

She added she doesn’t “think there’s a single letter that goes by that she does not say how much she misses my dad.”

“They don’t get to talk … So we’re like, four months in, almost, and being together almost 30 years now and not going a day without speaking, to now going on four months is a lot,” she continued.

On the Jan. 31 episode of her podcast, Savannah Chrisley gave insight into how her parents are coping with their new life in prison.

When speaking about her father, she said, “There’s days that are tough” and “There’s struggles.”

However, she said they are both thriving inside the prison walls.

“And I know it sounds crazy for me to say, that like it sounds crazy for me to say, ‘Alright, they’re doing really well,’ but they are. My mom, she’s made friends, she’s keeping busy, she’s going to church, she’s working, she’s playing some spades,” she continued.

During the Dec. 27 episode, Savannah Chrisley shared the encouraging words her father gave her to help her cope with living life without them.

“Dad was like, ‘I may not be here in front of you, but I’m still alive,’” she said. “‘I’m still fighting. You don’t have to live a day without speaking to me.’”

Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted in June 2022 of “conspiring to defraud Atlanta banks.”

In January, they were sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison and will be required to do 16 months of probation after they complete their jail time.
