Comedian Rob Schneider made bold statements about country music star Garth Brooks following criticism he received for his inclusion of Bud Light at his new bar.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Schneider, 59, said he thinks Brooks will stay out of a controversy next time, after he was slammed for openly supporting the beer brand following backlash they received for partnering with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

“I think next time, he’s going to stay out of it. Isn’t he?” he said.

Schneider added, “I think Garth Brooks, next time, is going to shut his mouth, and he’s going to pretend like ‘I don’t have anything to do with what beer is chosen in my restaurant.'”

Furthermore, he noted, “The culture is in a very weird little place of hypersensitivity one way or the other.”

“And I think that’s why most people shut their mouths. I mean, just from a business standpoint, just shut up, say I have nothing to do with it,” he explained.

In an interview with Billboard Country Live on June 7, Brooks revealed he would sell Bud Light at his up-and-coming bar Friends In Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk, set to open in Nashville, Tennessee.

“I know this sounds corny. I want it to be the Chick-fil-A of honky-tonks … I want it to be a place you feel safe in. I want it to be a place where you feel like there are manners, and people like one another,” he said.

Brooks emphasized that his bar would “serve every brand of beer” and “it’s not our decision to make.”

“Our thing is this, if you [are let] into this house, love one another. If you’re an a–hole, there are plenty of other places on lower Broadway,” he continued.

Following the backlash he received for his comments, Brooks addressed his critics during his live stream “Inside Studio G,” and acknowledged he caused “quite a little bit of a stir.”

“Everybody’s got their opinions. But inclusiveness is always going to be me,” Brooks said, via NBC News.

He stated he thinks “diversity is the answer to the problems that are here and the answer to the problems that are coming” and that he loves “diversity.”

“All inclusive, so all are welcome. I understand that might not be other people’s opinions, but that’s OK, man,” he shared.
