Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel is encouraging Americans to hold on while allegations of voter “irregularities” are looked into.

“I would also agree be patient because we have seen a lot of irregularities… I have been in Michigan, we’ve been pursuing reports coming in on our hotline, people who were disenfranchised from observing the vote count and some more serious allegations that we’re seeing, so, be patient and allow that to play out,” McDaniel said during her appearance on Fox News.

She stressed there is a “canvass” for a reason and a “certification” for a reason.

McDaniel explained some of the irregularities coming from Michigan “are very, very serious.”

“I want to let this play out and allow the lawyers to look at this, but, it is not something that is little, so, be patient. What is disconcerting is the amount of Democrat-run counties and precincts in the country where Republicans were not allowed to observe here in Michigan. I have hundreds of witnesses who talk about being disenfranchised, being removed from counting centers as election workers cheered as they were removed,” McDaniel said.

She argued, “We’re not hearing about this in Republican-run counties.”

McDaniel claimed it is only happening in major cities including Detroit and Philadelphia.

She added, “Where are the Democrats in saying, you know what, we want transparency?”

President Donald Trump has continued to push allegations of widespread voter fraud.

McDaniel is not the only one to back Trump’s claims.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) expressed his support for the president, as IJR previously reported.

“Democracy depends upon fair elections. President Trump’s team is going to have a chance to make a case regarding voting irregularities. They deserve a chance to make that case. I’m going to stand with President Trump. If a Democrat were doing this, it’d be cheered on,” Graham said.

Trump has launched a series of lawsuits in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Nevada over voter fraud allegations as IJR previously reported.

Trump and McDaniel have failed to provide evidence to back their claims of voting irregularities.
