Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. dismissed any possibility that his name would be tied to deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In an interview with NewsNation host and Mediaite founder Dan Abrams, Kennedy was asked whether he was “concerned about anything that could come out” regarding his relationship with Epstein.

“My plane rides with Jeffrey Epstein, I took two plane rides with him,” Kennedy explained. “Once in 1993, when I went down to visit my mother in Palm Beach. Remember, nobody knew about anything about Jeffrey Epstein’s nefarious activities till 2006. He was a public figure and a big philanthropist in New York and many, many people knew him.”

When asked about his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein, RFK Jr. says he rode Jeffrey Epstein's plane twice and emphasizes he hopes to see all documents related to the case released.

“My wife knew his girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, and they offered us a ride when we were going down to see my mother. I was with two children, and my wife on the plane at that time. I knew nothing about Jeffrey Epstein.”

Kennedy added that “one or two years later” they took his “kids fossil hunting on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.”

“That was the extent of anything that I had to do with Jeffrey Epstein’s airplane,” Kennedy added. “Of course, you know, I ran across Jeffrey Epstein at parties – I mean, at fundraisers, for the Robin Hood fundraiser in New York, but other than that I had no relationship with him.”

When asked again by Abrams whether there was anything “that could come out” regarding Kennedy’s relationship with Epstein that Kennedy might be concerned about affecting his campaign, Kennedy said, “nothing at all.”

“I hope everything that is known about Jeffrey Epstein comes out,” Kennedy added.

In early December, Kennedy admitted to Fox News host Jesse Watters in an interview that he had flown on Epstein’s private jet plane twice.

A portion of Epstein documents relating to legal proceedings between Virginia Giuffre, an alleged victim of Epstein’s sex trafficking, and Maxwell, Epstein’s partner were released on Wednesday.

Deceased pop star Michael Jackson, former President Bill Clinton, magician David Copperfield, and Prince Andrew are among the many people named in the Epstein client list. Former President Donald Trump is also referenced in the documents, though, a witness claims she was never asked to do anything sexual with Trump.

Epstein was found dead on Aug. 10, 2019, around 6:30 a.m. at the Metropolitan Correction Center in New York.
