Prince Harry returned to the U.K. following King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, but does not intend to reunite with his estranged brother.

Prince Harry, 39, arrived in London Tuesday and immediately went to Clarence House, the longtime residence of King Charles, 75, People magazine reported.

Even though Prince Harry reunited with his father, it does not appear to be the same for Prince William. A royal source said, according to People, there are “no plans” for Prince Harry and Prince William to get together.

Prince William, 41, has a packed schedule himself with the recent hospitalization of his wife, Princess Katherine, for abdominal surgery, and caring for their three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The 42-year-old princess is not expected to return to public life until Easter, the palace previously said.

In addition to his own schedule, the Prince of Wales is expected to fill in for his father for upcoming engagements.

At this time, there are no plans to appoint Counsellors of State to act on King Charles’ behalf. Counsellors of State are members of the royal family who can carry out constitutional duties for the monarch if he is abroad or unwell, People reported. The positions are currently held by Queen Camilla, Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice, Princess Anne and Prince Edward.

“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties. Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual,” a press release said Monday.

The world learned of the rift between Prince William and Prince Harry following the release of Prince Harry’s book “Spare” in January 2022.

Prince Harry claimed his elder brother had physically attacked him during one particular argument.

Prince Harry’s wife , Meghan Markle, and the couple’s two children — Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet — did not make the trip to the U.K. The Sussexes emigrated to the United States in 2020.
