The poll found that 51% of GOP voters would support the former president, while 22% said they would vote for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and 7% said they would vote for former Vice President Mike Pence. Voters have expressed concerns over Biden's health in previous polls, especially with his frequent gaffes during his speeches. A NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll from May 23 showed that 62% of Americans - 84% of Republicans, 69% of Independents, and 36% of Democrats - feel that Biden's "mental fitness to be president is a real concern." While visiting the Lucy Evans Baylands Nature Interpretative Center and Preserve in Palo Alto, California, Biden mixed up his years, vowing to "conserve 30% of all lands and water" in the United States by 2020. Prior to Biden mixing up the years, during a speech on gun control at the National Safety Communities Summit in Hartford, Connecticut, Biden thanked the crowd and said, "God save the queen, man."
