Former Vice President Mike Pence is launching a policy and advocacy organization.

The 501(c)(4) advocacy organization, Advancing American Freedom, launched on Wednesday, is “advocating for Conservative values and policy proposals,” the website reads.

“Advancing American Freedom plans to build on the success of the last four years by promoting traditional conservative values and promoting the successful policies of the Trump administration,” Pence told the Washington Examiner.

The advisory board consists of officials who served under the Trump administration, such as former counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway and former White House Economic Adviser Larry Kudlow. Others on the board include John Ratcliffe, Newt Gingrich, David McIntosh, among others.

Conway said, “I’ve worked alongside Mike Pence for 12 years in an official capacity but have known him for decades. He has the heart of a servant and the mind of a policy wonk and through this issue advocacy group wants to ensure that the promise of America belongs to each and every one of us.”

Pence also told the Examiner, “Conservatives will not stand idly by as the radical left and the new administration attempt to threaten America’s standing as the greatest nation in the world with their destructive policies.”

Additionally, the former vice president declared that the group will “oppose the expansion of government” under the Biden administration.

Former President Donald Trump praised Pence for launching the organization.

“It was the most successful first term in American history,” Trump said in a statement to the Examiner. “Nice to see Mike highlighting some of our many achievements!”

The former vice president is stepping back into public life after 77 days since Inauguration Day. Since President Joe Biden’s inauguration, Pence has laid low.

Pence is automatically considered “part of 2024’s opening top tier,” Axios reports.

He is expected to deliver his first speech since leaving office on April 29. He will keynote a dinner hosted by the Palmetto Family Council in South Carolina.
