House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is not holding back when it comes to how she feels about President Donald Trump as he leaves the White House.

Speaking with MSNBC’s Joy Reid, during an interview that aired on Tuesday, the House speaker bluntly said, “Donald Trump was a stain on our country.”

“I don’t think we could have sustained our democracy if he had two terms in office, for what he was doing to our institutions, or for what he was doing to our Constitution,” she continued. “He dishonored it.”

She added:

“He, in every respect, was unworthy to be president. Did not respect the office that held, and certainly, did not respect the office the rest of us hold as well.”

Pelosi then said that she respected the office of the presidency more than Trump did.

When asked what her message would be to the outgoing president, Pelosi told Reid, “Accept the results of the election, concede to the president, Joe Biden, and call off the terrorists you have unleashed.”
