Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is brushing off concerns about President Joe Biden’s age, insisting his

Pelosi, 83, appeared on CNN Monday night and defended the 81-year-old president.

“I think that, again, age is an objective fact. I think that it’s all relative,” she said.

The California Democrat continued, “He’s younger than I am, so what do I have to say about his age?”

“But he is, again, knowledgeable, wise… Joe Biden has vision, he has knowledge, he [is] a strategic thinker. This is a very sharp president,” she added.

Finally, she brushed off moments when Biden makes “a slip of the tongue here or there.”

“What’s the deal?” she added.

On Sunday, an ABC News/Ipsos poll found a whopping 86% percent of Americans believe Biden is too old to serve another term.

The outlet noted that number includes 59% of Americans who think the 46th president and former President Donald Trump, 77, are both too old, and 27% who think just Biden is too old.

Seventy three percent of Democrats say Biden is too old, while just 35% of Republicans say the same of the former president.

Meanwhile, 91% of independents think Biden is too old, and 71% say Trump is as well.
