Friends and admirers of actor Paul Reubens are taking to Twitter to remember him and his legacy.
Reubens passed away at the age of 70 Monday, as IJR reported. Best known for his comedic role as Pee-wee Herman, he is being remembered fondly for his “iconic” personality.
The official Muppets Twitter page posted a tribute to Reubens which stated, “We absolutely loved Paul Reubens!”

Actor Corey Feldman noted he recently exchanged birthday texts from Reubens and remembered him as, “A GENIUS, GROUNDBREAKING COMEDIAN.”
