An individual involved with the planning told Politico law enforcement officials are coming together at the NYPD headquarters Monday to outline a plan for the potential indictment of Trump related to charges for paying a porn star.

Three people involved also told the outlet the indictment by a grand jury could happen as soon as late Monday or Wednesday.

“We’ll be discussing how we bring Trump in,” an individual involved with the planning told Politico. “No decisions have been made yet.”

An NYPD spokesperson explained the department’s “state of readiness remains a constant at all times, for all contingencies.”

The spokesperson added, “Our communications and coordination with our partners in government and in law enforcement are fundamental tenets of our commitment to public safety.”

Over the weekend, Trump called for his supporters to take action.

“Protest, take our nation back,” he wrote.

A source familiar with comments made by Trump told CNN the former president is convinced he will be indicted because he thinks Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg “hates him.”
