Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki shared more information about what President Joe Biden’s schedule looks like in the morning.

While speaking on MSNBC Monday, Psaki explained, “President Biden does nothing at 9 a.m. He is a night owl. So, the fact that he is doing this at 9 a.m. any way speaks to how vital the White House recognizes it is.”

Another user argued, “It’s sad, but obviously true, that the leader of the free world, normally can’t be bothered with his job before 9AM. She’s talking like this speech was at 4AM.”

In February 2021, CNN reported Biden had “established a regular schedule, including coffee in the mornings with the first lady, meetings and phone calls from the Oval Office starting just after 9 a.m. and a return to his residence by 7 p.m.”

The outlet explained, “Unlike his most recent predecessors – night owls who spent the dark hours reading briefing materials (President Barack Obama) or watching television (President Donald Trump) – Biden is more of an early-to-bed type.”

Psaki’s comments about his schedule come after Biden delivered remarks to Americans about the banking system, IJR reported.

“Thanks to the quick action of my administration over the past few days, Americans can have confidence that the banking system is safe,” Biden said Monday after the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and shut down of New York-based Signature Bank.

He continued, “Your deposits will be there when you need them. Small businesses across the country that deposit accounts at these banks can breathe easier knowing they’re able to pay their workers and pay their bills.”

The president delivered his message during a short briefing prior to his trip to California.
