Republican Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin on Friday steered clear of a reply to comments from former President Donald Trump about him. “Young Kin (now that’s an interesting take. Youngkin indicated he did not want to hear the post read. “That’s not the way I roll, and not the way I behave,” he said. “This is a moment for us to come together.’ Virginia came on Trump’s radar after a Thursday comment by <a href="https://www.westernjournal.com/republican-lt-gov-winsome-sears-virginia-eviscerates-democratic-party-hatred-black-conservatives/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears</a> that Trump might be more a part of the GOP’s past than its future. “What we saw was, even though he wasn’t on the ballot, he was, because he stepped in and endorsed candidates,” Earle-Sears said, according to <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2022/11/10/virginia-winsome-sears-trump/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Washington Post</a>. “And yet, it turns out that those he did not endorse on the same ticket did better than the ones he did endorse.
