WILMINGTON, DELAWARE - JULY 26: Hunter Biden, son of U.S. President Joe Biden, departs to the J. Caleb Boggs Federal Building on July 26, 2023 in Wilmington, Delaware. Biden pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges in a deal with prosecutors to avoid prosecution on an additional gun charge. However, the federal judge overseeing the case unexpectedly delayed Biden’s plea deal and deferred her decision until more information is put forth by both the prosecution and the defense. House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) updated the Biden family investigation by releasing the interview transcript of a former FBI SSA.

🚨 TRANSCRIPT RELEASE🚨

Today we’re releasing the former FBI supervisory special agent’s transcript. During the transcribed interview, the former FBI SSA corroborated key details in the IRS whistleblowers’ testimony.

This provided more evidence that Joe Biden’s team was “tipped off” about the investigation and that the IRS and the FBI were both told to “stand down.”

During the interview, this former FBI agent detailed a plan to question Hunter Biden in December 2020.

They said, “We developed a plan for the FBI Los Angeles special agent in charge to reach out at 8 a.m. on December 8th to the Secret Service Los Angeles special agent in charge and tell them that we would be coming to the residence to seek an interview with Hunter Biden and it was part of an official investigation.”

The informant noted, “However, the night before, December 7th of 2020, I was informed that FBI headquarters had notified Secret Service headquarters and the transition team about the planned actions the following day.”

“This essentially tipped off a group of people very close to President Biden and Hunter Biden and gave this group an opportunity to obstruct the approach of the witness,” they added.

The former agent then explained how the attempt to question Hunter Biden was allegedly interfered with.

They said, “I was notified by my assistant special agent in charge that we would not even be allowed to approach the house; that the plan, as told to us, was that my information would be given to the Secret Service, to whom I don’t know exactly, and, you know, my name, my contact, you know, my cell phone, for example, with the notification that we would like to talk to Hunter Biden; and that I was not to go near the house and to stand by.”

This was described as unusual behavior, that never in 20 years working for the FBI had this agent been told to wait outside until contacted by “the target.”

The informant then noted, “I was with supervisory special agent No. 2 of the IRS when we were told we just couldn’t make the approach all and that my information would be passed to ‐‐ through the Secret Service to the subject, Mr. Biden.”

We have no confidence in U.S. Attorney Weiss as Special Counsel given his inability to prevent the Biden transition team from being contacted and other misconduct during the Biden criminal investigation.

The House Oversight Committee posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, regarding this testimony. They stated, “We have no confidence in U.S. Attorney Weiss as Special Counsel given his inability to prevent the Biden transition team from being contacted and other misconduct during the Biden criminal investigation.”

According to the New York Post, Comer commented on Delaware US Attorney David Weiss being given special counsel authority, Friday.

Concerns were raised that this would interfere with the current investigation of the Biden family because it protects Weiss from holding legal obligations to testify before the House Oversight Committee on the subject.

Despite this Comer said, “We’re not going to stop. This is just another day in the office for us leading this investigation of Biden corruption.”

According to the same New York Post article, Attorney General Merrick Garland said Friday he appointed Weiss as special counsel in the Hunter Biden case because of “the extraordinary circumstances relating to this matter.”
