Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) was spotted watching the Tucker Carlson interview with former President Donald Trump during the first GOP primary debate Wednesday.

Greene has supported Trump throughout his legal battles, per the IJR, and has been a vocal America First supporter.

On Thursday morning, she posted, “Trump’s absence from the debate last night shows without him, the Republican Party wants to run backwards 20 years to foreign wars and an eyes shut mentality of what the Democrat party is and how to stop it.”

That was a glimpse of a party the base will want nothing to do with.

“That was a glimpse of a party the base will want nothing to do with,” she predicted.

Trump’s interview reportedly has received over 187 million views, more than 600,000 likes, and over 160,000 shares on X, formerly Twitter, as of Thursday morning.

The Fox News debate highlight post on X had three likes as of Thursday morning, and the top-viewed GOP debate primary reel featured second-place candidate Vivek Ramaswamy exchanging heated words with former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

The clip had 507,000 views on YouTube Thursday morning and 5.4 thousand likes.

This has led Time Magazine to declare Trump the winner of the GOP primary debate without him even attending.

Trump was not allowed to attend the debate after he refused to sign the newly instated GOP loyalty pledge, which was adopted in February of this year, according to the IJR.

Rumors circulated he would do a one-on-one interview with Carlson, a former Fox News host, but this was not confirmed until Wednesday morning, the day of the interview.

Trump posted the news on Truth Social and noted that “‘SPARKS WILL FLY!’”

“Trump & Tucker” began trending on X and Greene reposted the interview for her followers.

She then criticized the GOP primary debate, noting that protecting children was not discussed.

Not one candidate on the stage last night said they would stop transgender surgeries on children and puberty blockers.

Moderators didn’t even ask.

Not addressing this growing evil issue is a serious disappointment and sign none of them are ready to be President and stop the…

Greene also decried the majority of candidates for their support of current war policies.

I’m still purely disgusted at the fact that almost every candidate last night are raging neocons eager to drag America deeper into war in Ukraine.

Yet they were all clueless that the bigger threat to the U.S. is China driven BRICS that will tank our economy and destroy our…

“I’m done with America last foreign policy,” she concluded.
