Georgia Man Accused of Allegedly Threatening to Kill Marjorie Taylor Greene

WASHINGTON, DC - OCTOBER 12: U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) speaks to reporters as she leaves a House Republican caucus meeting at the U.S. Capitol on October 12, 2023 in Washington, DC. The House Republicans continue to debate their pick for Speaker after their initial nominee, Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), failed to secure the number of votes needed. The full House of Representatives is expected to vote on a replacement for former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) after he was ousted last week. (Photo by Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images)

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) appears to be unmoved by an appeal from British Foreign Minister David Cameron to pass a bill providing more aid for Ukraine.

On Wednesday, Sky News’s U.S. Correspondent James Matthews asked Greene, “David Cameron says that you should vote through funding for Ukraine. What do you say to that?”

“I think he tried to compare us to Hitler also. And if that’s the kind of language he wants to use, I really have nothing to say to him,” she responded.

Matthews countered, “Well, he likened you to an appeaser to Hitler in not voting through funding for Ukraine,.”

He asked, “Are you an appeaser for Putin?”

Greene shot back, “I really don’t care what David Cameron has to say. I think that’s rude name-calling.”

“And I don’t appreciate that type of language. And David Cameron needs to worry about his own country,” she continued.

“Frankly,” Greene added, “He can kiss my ass.”

Matthews asked, “But do you think Putin’s the good guy in all this?”

However, Greene simply walked into an office and shut the door without answering.

The exchange comes as House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La) has rejected a $95 billion aid package for Israel and Ukraine.

“[In] the absence of having received any single border policy change from the Senate, the House will have to continue to work its own will on these important matters,” Johnson said about the bill.

He added, “America deserves better than the Senate’s status quo.”
