Linda Beigel Schulman, the mother of a Parkland, Florida, shooting victim, is sharing her opinion of whether Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) should have a place on the House education committee.
Schulman revealed during an appearance on CNN on Monday she had a conversation with Greene about coming out and disavowing her false claims surrounding the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
She was asked if she believes Greene should be removed from Congress.
“I’m not a politician. I’m just a mom whose son was murdered 1,084 days ago. So it’s really not for me to say, but I will tell you that unless she comes forward and unless she acknowledges that the massacre wasn’t staged and it’s not a false flag and that it was real and it really did happen and all those people were murdered… she has no right being on an education committee,” Schulman said.
She reflected on her son’s death and urged Greene to come out publicly and admit the shooting was real.
“So, you know what, I do say to Marjorie Taylor Greene, ‘Please, you know what, find your conscience. You’re a mother. Man up or woman up… and tell the truth. Tell everybody what you told me,'” Schulman added.

During an appearance on One America News Network on Monday, Greene admitted the Parkland school shooting happened along with other shootings.
“These are not red flag incidences. They are not fake, and it’s terrible the loss that these families go through and their friends as well,” Greene said.
Fred Guttenberg, the father of another Parkland shooting victim, urged House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) to hold Greene accountable for her comments.
“If Kevin McCarthy wants to actually have any chance of being a leader going forward, he needs to get rid of her today. This is not an option,” Guttenberg said during an appearance on CNN’s “New Day.”

A video from March of 2019 resurfaced showing Greene following Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg and “heckling” him, as IJR reported.
Hogg called on McCarthy to “take all of her committee assignments away, along with that also, don’t support her when she runs for re-election again, and try to get her primaried.”
