Singer Miranda Lambert was seemingly unfazed following backlash she received for reprimanding fans for taking selfies during her performance.

In a video clip posted to TikTok, Lambert, 39, noticed someone in the audience during a concert at her Velvet Rodeo residency in Las Vegas, wearing a T-shirt that read “Shoot Tequila, Not Selfies.”

Lambert loved the reference, telling the fan, “That’s bada**.” She then proceeded to take a shot out of a small bottle of tequila with one of her bandmates.

This was the first time she spoke out about the incident that occurred at her concert on July 15, according to Fox News.

This came after Lambert received backlash for stopping her performance of “Tin Man” to call out a group of women for their photo-taking in a viral clip posted to TikTok.

“I’m gonna stop right here for a sec…These girls are worried about a selfie and not listening to the song. It’s pissing me off a little bit,” she said.

She added, “Sorry, I don’t like it — at all. We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some country damn music.”

In a phone interview with NBC News, Adela Calin, one of the women who was involved in the selfie-taking controversy, said she was “appalled” by Lambert’s reaction.

“It felt like I was back at school with the teacher scolding me for doing something wrong and telling me to sit down back in my place. I feel like she was determined to make us look like we were young, immature, and vain,” Calin said, adding she and her friends “were just grown women in our 30s to 60s trying to take a picture.”

Calin further explained the excessive photo-taking was a result of them not being able to “get one good picture” due to poor lighting.

“We were so excited because I think we had the best seats in the house in the whole theater,” she shared.
