President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen will provide additional insight into his time with the president in his upcoming podcast.

“I’m launching a podcast [Mea Culpa] this Monday 9/14. Only I can give you an insider POV into the most divisive and dangerous mind in American history through honest weekly discussions about the state of our country,” Cohen said.

“Now, imprisoned in his home, his life, reputation and livelihood destroyed, Cohen is on a mission to right the wrongs he perpetuated on behalf of his boss,” the show’s description reads.

It continues, “Mea Culpa with Michael Cohen, is a raw and unfiltered shining a light into the dark corners of our current American Apocalypse. Tune in weekly for a candid conversation with the self proclaimed ‘gangster lawyer,’ as he sets to dismantle the Trump legacy and finds the truth and nothing but the truth.”

The announcement for his podcast come just days after the release of his book, “Disloyal: A Memoir.”

In his book, Cohen accused Trump of routinely making racist and sexist remarks, as IJR previously reported.

He discussed his handling of the president’s comments.

“I wanted power, as I’ve confessed, and that blinded me to just about everything awful and true and dangerous about Trump,” Cohen wrote.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany launched an attack on Cohen in a statement.

“Michael Cohen is a disgraced felon and disbarred lawyer, who lied to Congress. He has lost all credibility, and it’s unsurprising to see his latest attempt to profit off of lies,” she said.

Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison in 2018 for financial crimes and lying to Congress.

After a federal judge found he was a target of retaliation for planning to publish his book, and was ordered released from prison and returned to home confinement, as IJR previously reported.
