Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany says Vice President Kamala Harris’ “ability or ineptitude” is what has led her to losing the media.

During an episode of Fox News’ “Outnumbered,” co-host McEnany commented on remarks Harris made during an interview with “Good Morning America” about h 09er role in the Biden administration.

She explained, “Harris, I just heard her say she doesn’t feel misused or underused, except we have more than three dozen sources, that’s what CNN got, more than three dozen sources saying she is. That’s nearly 40 people saying she feels misused or underused.”

McEnany is referencing a report published by CNN titled, “Exasperation and dysfunction: Inside Kamala Harris’ frustrating start as vice president.”

She continued, “So I think there is a little truth to the matter when you have that many sources, and she complains about media coverage and she’s being attacked.”

McEnany mentioned White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki’s claim that “it’s because of her identity” that Harris is being attacked.

According to the former White House press secretary, Harris began her vice presidency with “fawning coverage” from the media.

She added, “This is someone who started with fawning media has since lost the media because, oh wait, not her identity. Her job performance. The border is on fire. She didn’t get voting rights legislation passed. Her ability or ineptitude I should say, is the reason she’s losing the media.”

Check out the video below:

Psaki made the claim during a Politico “Women Rule” event, as IJR reported.

“I do think that it has been easier and harsher from some in the right wing who have gone after her because she is the first woman, the first woman of color. I’m not suggesting anyone will acknowledge that publicly,” she said.

Psaki suggested some criticism of Harris has been “beyond because of her identity.”

The vice president was asked during her “Good Morning America” interview if she feels “misused or underused.”

She responded, “No. I don’t. I’m very, very excited about the work that we have accomplished. But I am also absolutely, absolutely clear-eyed that there is a lot more to do, and we’re gonna get it done.”
