Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) is comparing President Donald Trump to the infamous street gangs in Los Angeles, California.

On Thursday night, Waters appeared on Showtime’s “Desus & Mero.” During the episode, she discussed her career in politics and, of course, Trump.

The congresswoman didn’t mince words when she shared her opinion of the president. Waters compared Trump to the Blood and Crip gangs calling him a “street player” and accusing him of conning people in the past.

According to Waters, gang members have “more integrity.”

“This guy is a street player,” Waters said, adding, “He’s a guy that has conned folks. He has flirted with the gangsters.”

Waters added, “I have worked in some of the toughest communities. I’ve worked with gangs, I’ve worked with Crips, I’ve worked with Bloods. And there’s more integrity in many of these young people in the hood than this man has.”

“This is a flawed character, and I’ve never seen anything like this,” she said.

Waters’ latest comments follow her recent “mafia boss” remarks in response to Trump advocating for a reduced sentence for his former adviser, Roger Stone.

More than 2000 former DOJ officials courageously organized letter explaining why Barr’s interference in Roger Stone’s sentencing is dangerous & a threat to our democracy. Trump doesn’t seem to care that it’s rumored he has mafia associations, but he sure acts like a mafia boss!

In the wake of Stone’s sentencing on Thursday, Waters posted a tweet accusing Trump of using Attorney General William Barr’s authority to “get his criminal friends out of jail.”

Trump using AG Barr to get his criminal friends out of jail is the tip of the iceberg. I’ll say it again: Trump will pardon Flynn, Manafort, & Stone b/c the GOP cowards in the Sen bowed to his feet. Repubs now stand for crime, corruption, autocracy, & Russia! They are PATHETIC!

However, the Justice Department has confirmed that the decision to reduce Stone’s sentence from seven to three years was made without the influence of Trump.

When asked about the Democratic presidential race, Waters admitted that she is uneasy and won’t make an endorsement decision until the end of the month.

“I think now it boils down to all of us wanting someone that we feel comfortable can really beat Trump. This country cannot tolerate another four years of him,” she said, adding, “I have not endorsed anybody, and I’m going to wait until after South Carolina.”
