Actress Evangeline Lilly, known for being on the show “Lost,” and in Marvel’s “Ant-man and the wasp” attended an anti-vaccine rally in Washington, D.C. to support “bodily sovereignty.”

“I believe nobody should ever be forced to inject their body with anything, against their will,” Lilly wrote in a caption on a photo on her Instagram on Thursday.

Her post showed protesters in Washington, D.C., last weekend holding up signs reading, “Vaxxed Democrat for medical freedom” and “Nurses for vax-choice.”

As she noted, this protest came as Canadian truckers planned to protest cross-country against vaccine mandates.

The Canadian actress has been criticized once before for her views on health and the pandemic. She has since apologized for an Instagram post that encouraged resisting self-quarantining when the coronavirus pandemic first started.

Disney, which owns Marvel, had previously mandated that all their employees be vaccinated except for their Florida employees due to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signing legislation prohibiting these mandates for employers.

The truckers’ protest, dubbed Freedom Convey, was put together by Canada Unity, a group that opposes masking and vaccinations mandates for the pandemic.

Also in attendance of what seemed to be the same demonstration in Washington, D.C. was anti-vaccine activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Kennedy made a controversial speech suggesting that the Jews had more freedom during the Holocaust than unvaccinated Americans do today. After receiving backlash, he apologized for those remarks.

As Christians, we know that our bodies are God’s temple, according to 1 Corinthians 13:16-17. The Holy Spirit dwells in us, and so whatever choice we make with God’s body should be in obedience to Him and bring Him glory.
