Billionaire businessman Mark Cuban officially endorsed Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden as he outlined his concerns about President Donald Trump.

During an appearance on Fox News, Cuban insisted Trump’s interest in winning his political campaign takes precedence over his obligation to run the country, whereas Biden, a career politician, has a real interest in leading the country.

“Donald Trump doesn’t want to run a country. He wants to run a campaign,” Cuban told host Sean Hannity on Tuesday night. “Joe Biden actually wants to run a country.”

Hannity also raised questions about Biden’s fitness to lead.

“Do you believe that he has the strength, the stamina, the mental acuity, the alertness to be taking on what is the toughest job in the world, being the president of the United States?” Hannity asked. “Do you in your heart believe he does?”

Cuban defended his stance saying, “One hundred percent. Absolutely. No question about it.”

When asked to highlight what qualifies Biden for the presidency, Cuban lauded the Affordable Care Act. He also criticized Trump as he noted the “millions, if not tens of millions of people losing” their jobs in the midst of the pandemic.

See Cuban’s remarks below:

With record-high job losses due to the coronavirus pandemic, health insurance benefits are also in jeopardy for many workers. However, Cuban argues that despite everything plaguing American workers, Trump is still set on dismantling the health care act without a viable replacement for it amid the pandemic.

“I think the ACA [ObamaCare] is easily [President Barack Obama and Biden’s] biggest accomplishment and it’s unfortunate [the Trump administration is] trying to dismantle it,” he said.

He went on to commend Biden’s support of entrepreneurship.

Cuba added, “And I will also say … the one event in the White House that Joe Biden put on and spoke about his support for entrepreneurship is one more event than he [Trump] has ever thrown for entrepreneurs in the White House or anywhere else.”

Cuban and Hannity’s discussion follows multiple remarks the Dallas Mavericks owner has made criticizing the president’s administration. However, Trump is known for defending his administration’s work.

Like Hannity, Trump has also criticized Biden’s leadership claiming the former vice president has achieved very little throughout his 47 years holding public office.

“Virtually every policy that has hurt Black Americans for half a century, Joe Biden has supported or enacted,” Trump said during his Tulsa, Oklahoma rally on Saturday. “I have done more for the Black community in four years then Joe Biden has done in 47 years.”

However, the president has recently come under, as people have suggested he has politicized many critical aspects of government including the coronavirus pandemic, public health policies, mask requirements, U.S. military, U.S. intelligence, and the justice system.

The presidential election is set for November 3, 2020.
