Musician Kid Rock posted an announcement about a series of "no snowflakes" concerts. On Instagram Monday, Kid Rock shared the image of a poster promoting the "No Snowflakes Summer Concert." He wrote in the caption, "KID ROCK ANNOUNCES FOUR 2023 ARENA DATES." The post continues, "THE FOUR-CITY LIMITED RUN WILL FEATURE DIFFERENT SPECIAL GUESTS ON EACH NIGHT: CHRIS JANSON, MARCUS KING, TRAVIS TRITT, AND GRAND FUNK RAILROAD." According to the post, "Tickets Available Starting Tuesday March 7 with Artist Presale." Concluding the post, Kid Rock wrote, "General OnSale Starting Friday March 10 at 10 AM Local Time on KidRock.com." https://twitter.com/KidRock/status/1632803141224738817 The singer is no stranger to the world of politics. Last year, Kid Rock released a song titled, "We the People," taking aim at policies related to the COVID-19 pandemic. “Wear your mask. Take your pills. Now a whole generation is mentally ill,” Kid Rock sings in the song. He also sings, "COVID’s near. It’s coming to town. We gotta act quick, shut our borders down. Joe Biden does, the media embraces. Big Don does it, and they call him racist.” Kid Rock also addresses inflation, saying it is "up like the minimum wage. So it’s all the same. Not a damn thing changed." In 2017, Kid Rock appeared to tease a Senate run on social media. "I have had a ton of emails and texts asking me if this website is real… http://kidrockforsenate.comThe answer is an absolute YES," he tweeted at the time. https://twitter.com/KidRock/status/885240249655468032 However, he later said during an interview it was a stunt. “I told Eminem’s manager the other night — I saw him at the Pistons game when he got cheered and I got booed, according to the New York Times — I said, let’s not let this divide us,” Kid Rock said. He continued, “I said, ‘Dude, I started this s***. I’ve got motherf***ers thinking I’m running for Senate.’ People who are in on it are like, ‘Are you really doing it?’ I’m like: ‘Dude, you’re f***ing in on the joke! Why you asking me if I’m doing it?’ ”
