The White House Correspondents Association (WHCA) has announced the annual correspondents’ dinner will be hosted by “Saturday Night Live” star Kenan Thompson.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the event is scheduled to take place on April 25. It has been reported that Hasan Minhaj will also be a featured entertainer. The “Patriot Act With Hasan Minhaj” star previously hosted the event in 2017 and the association has agreed that the two are perfectly suited for the job.

In a statement released earlier today, White House Correspondents’ Association President Jonathan Karl made the announcement and shared his opinion of both Thompson and Minhaj.

“Kenan and Hasan are two of the most engaged and engaging entertainers in America. I’m thrilled they’ll help us celebrate the role of a free press in our democracy,” Karl said in the statement.

He added, “We’re looking forward to a lively evening honoring the most important political journalism of the past year.”

According to the New York Post, the hosts aren’t the only exciting aspect of the big night. It has also been reported that two new awards will also be presented: the Katharine Graham Award for Courage and Accountability and the Award for Excellence in Presidential News Coverage by Visual Journalists.

Shortly after the announcement, Minhaj took to Twitter to confirm.

Karl also retweeted a post from “The View” welcoming comedy back to the White House Correspondents Dinner. In the quick clip, Whoopi Goldberg breathed an exasperated sigh relief at the thought of light-hearted banter adding a little “spice” to the relatively formal event.

Thank you, @WhoopiGoldberg! Please come to the dinner as my guest. https://t.co/AijspufgUL
