Kellyanne Conway Takes Aim At Kamala Harris: ‘Doesn’t Do Much Better at the Talking Thing’

HIGHLAND PARK, IL - JULY 05: U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris speaks, near the scene of a mass shooting yesterday during a Fourth of July parade, on July 5, 2022 in Highland Park, Illinois. Former counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway suggested Vice President Kamala Harris is not much better than the president at “the talking thing.”

Fox News’ Sean Hannity argued during his program President Joe Biden is not mentally fit to be president and the people around him “covering this up are the worst type of enablers.”

When asked if Democrats will tell Biden he is not up for the job, Conway replied, “Well, they fear that then the next person in line for the job isn’t up for the job either. Her name is Kamala Harris, and she doesn’t do much better at the talking thing and he does.”

She continued, “It’s so fascinating, isn’t it, that when the Democrats now are coming out of the woodwork and saying somehow a guy who wasn’t too old 18 months ago is too old now.”

Conway claimed Democrats “stop short of saying get rid of him now, just don’t run again in 2024 because they don’t say let’s just get Kamala to step in there. She, neither, like him, she also does not inspire confidence or demonstrate competence.”

She was later asked if she thinks Biden will finish his first term.

“Yes, he’s not going to finish any sentences, but he will finish his first term,” Conway said.

Harris has received criticism recently for a series of gaffes.

Earlier this week, the vice president was mocked for comments she made about transportation, as IJR reported.

“We are expanding access to transportation. Seems like maybe it’s a small issue — it’s a big issue. You need to get to go and need to be able to get where you need to go to do the work and get home,” Harris said.

Earlier this month, she received criticism after delivering a speech in Highland Park, Illinois, after a mass shooting.

“We’ve got to take this stuff seriously, as seriously as you are because you have been forced to take this seriously,” Harris said.

She continued, “The whole nation should understand and have a level of empathy to understand that this could happen anywhere [to] any people in any community. And we should stand together and speak out about why it’s got to stop.”
