Kanye West is reacting to a recent update surrounding his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s relationship with Pete Davidson.

Over the weekend, it was reported that Kardashian and Davidson had called it quits on their relationship.

Reacting to the news, West posted an image of a fake New York Times headline that stated, “Skete Davidson Dead At Age 28.”

Kardashian responded to the meme, as The Daily Mail reported.

A source close to her told the outlet, “Kim won’t stand for this. She is demanding that Kanye take the post down, but he won’t.”

The statement continued, “She has been vigorously defending Pete. She’ll never get back together with Kanye over the way he’s treated the people she loves and respects.”

A source close to Kardashian and Davidson told CNN the pair broke up “this week amicably due to distance and schedules.”

Kardashian previously opened up about how her relationship with the comedian unfolded during an episode of “The Kardashians.”

She explained she felt a connection when she kissed Davidson on “Saturday Night Live.”

“But Pete does not come to my afterparty,” Kardashian said. “Everyone was at my afterparty. He does not give me the time of day.”

She added, “A few days later, I called the producer at ‘SNL,’ and I was like, ‘Hey, do you have Pete’s number?’ And they were like, ‘Yeah!’ And I text him.”

The star claimed she was not even thinking like, “‘Oh, my God. I’m gonna be in a relationship with him.'”

Davidson mentioned West during his final speech on the show.

“Hello Colin [Jost] and [Michael] Che and millions of people only watching to see if I bring up Kanye,” Davidson said.

He continued, “I never imagined this would be my life.”
