Rapper Kanye West is casting his first ever presidential vote.

“God is so good,” West tweeted Tuesday morning while noting his first vote ever.

He wrote on Twitter, “Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it’s for someone I truly trust…me.”

Additionally, West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, shared a post on Election Day encouraging Americans to vote:

West launched a White House bid in July, and at his first campaign rally, he sparked criticism for his remark regarding Harriet Tubman, an American abolitionist and conductor of the Underground Railroad.

He said, “Harriet Tubman never actually freed the slaves, she just had them work for other white people,” which was followed by someone who was heard saying, “Come on man.”

Following remarks he made about politics and his marriage, West’s wife shared a statement where she noted that “Kanye has bi-polar disorder” but said he is a “brilliant but complicated person.”

Kardashian added, “I kindly ask that the media and public give us the compassion and empathy that is needed so that we can get through this.”

The rapper has not made the ballot in most states, according to The Hill.

According to FiveThirtyEight, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden leads in the national polls ahead of Election Day.
