Vice President Kamala Harris shared her response to the heckling that came from some Republican lawmakers during the State of the Union.

During an appearance on “Good Morning America” Wednesday, Harris told host George Stephanopoulos, “I think there’s a bit of what happens in that room, sadly that it’s about theatrics, but when you talk about the substantive work, I think we’ve seen some success in terms of bipartisan work.”

She explained, “The president, it’s his nature and it’s his commitment to the American people to work across the aisle. That’s not going to stop, even if some people are cynical about it.”

Harris was also asked about the response from Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) following the address during which she said, “The choice is no longer between right or left. The choice is between normal and crazy.”

The vice president reacted, saying, “I didn’t see the response but I know what the president talks about.”

She continued, “Instead of talking about whatever the labels are, he’s focused on… what we need to do for the American people.”

The State of the Union took a turn after President Joe Biden made a claim about Republicans, as IJR reported.

“Instead of making the wealthy pay their fair share, some Republicans — some Republicans — want Medicare and Social Security to sunset,” Biden said.

He added, “I’m not saying it’s the majority…”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) could be heard shouting, “You lie!… Liar!”

Biden responded, “I’m glad you see it. I tell you, I enjoy conversion.”

The president proceeded to tell the crowd he does not believe a majority of Republicans are in support of the proposal.

“But it’s being proposed by individuals. I’m politely not naming them, but it’s being proposed by some individuals,” Biden said.
